When using Sauna Menthol® cooling crystals, it is important to observe some safety rules to ensure your sauna experience is optimal and enjoyable:
Start with a small amount:Menthol crystals are very intense. It's best to start with a small crystal (approx. 0.5 cm). This way you can ensure the effect is pleasant and gradually increase the amount as needed.
Correct water temperature:Do not add the crystals to cold water, otherwise they will not dissolve properly. The water should be hot enough for the crystals to dissolve completely and release the refreshing menthol vapor.
Contact with the skin:If the crystals come into direct contact with the skin, they can create a strong sensation of cold. This may feel very cold at first, but it actually promotes blood circulation. The sensation disappears after a short time. However, you should avoid applying them directly to the skin, especially on the face, to prevent eye irritation.
Do not place directly on electric heating elements:Never place crystals directly on electric heating elements – they are flammable! Always dissolve them beforehand in hot water in a sauna ladle or carefully place them on the sauna stones.
Storage:Store the crystals in a sealed container at room temperature. Do not store them in a sauna, as they may melt at temperatures above approximately 41°C. This will keep them effective and fresh for a long time.
Warning notices:
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding people.
- Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice if necessary.
- Keep away from open flames and hot surfaces – flammable!
- Do not use if you are allergic to menthol. Consult a doctor beforehand if you have any health concerns.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
If you follow these rules, you can safely enjoy the cooling and refreshing effects of Sauna Menthol® crystals.
