When using Sauna Menthol® sauna ice crystals, it is important to follow some safety instructions to ensure an optimal sauna experience:

Start small:Menthol crystals are very potent, so it is recommended to start with a small amount, e.g., a small crystal of about 0.5 cm. This way you will achieve a safe and pleasant effect and can gradually increase the amount if needed.

Sauna water temperature:Do not add the crystals to cold sauna water, as they will not dissolve properly. Ensure the water is hot enough for the crystals to dissolve and release the refreshing menthol steam.

Skin contact:Menthol crystals can cause an intense sensation of cold upon skin contact. This may feel very cool at first, but it promotes blood circulation and subsides after a while. Nevertheless, direct contact with the skin, especially on the face, should be avoided to prevent eye irritation.

Do not place directly on heating elements:The crystals must not come into direct contact with the heating elements of an electric sauna heater, as they can catch fire. Place the crystals safely in hot water in the sauna bucket or on the stones of the sauna heater.

Storage:Sauna menthol should be stored in a sealed container at room temperature. Do not store it in the sauna, as the crystals have a melting point of approximately 41°C and can melt in hot environments. This will keep it fresh and usable for a long time.
