The Cooperativa Cafetalera Capucas Limitada gently prepares its beans for decaffeination using local water. The caffeine is removed using a specially developed Green Coffee Extract (GCE) and activated carbon filtration. This approximately ten-hour monitored process ensures that the coffee remains 99.9% caffeine-free – while retaining its full aroma.
